Military-political bodies: development experience and lessons drawn
The article is devoted to the retrospective analysis of the military-political bodies development and functioning experience. The evaluation of their contribution to the strengthening of the tactical efficiency and spiritual welfare of the Red Army and the Soviet Armed Forces units is represented in the article. Their role in the achieving victory in the Great Patriotic War is depicted. The authors give the facts and examples that clear up the aims, tasks, forms and methods of military political bodies functioning, their development and transformation on different stages of Russian State history. The lessons of the development and functioning of military-political bodies drawn from the historical experience that can be considered on the developing of a new military-political working system of the Russian Federation Armed Forces at the present are summed up.

The institute of military commissioners in Russia’s Civil War
The article considers the objective reasons and backgrounds of military commissioners becoming in the Red Army during the Civil War. It sublines that the Civil War was a critical crisis phenomenon in the history of our motherland that required extraordinary measures to be solved. It makes a conclusion that the institute of military commissioners became one of the basis of the Soviet State that allowed winning, seemingly in a hopeless situation, in a specific post-revolutionary period and using human material that the State disposed.

Party and political work in the Red Army during the Civil War and the foreign military intervention of Russia
The publication is prepared on the basis of modern estimates of history of Civil war and foreign military intervention in Russia, process of creation and construction of Armed forces of the Soviet state. In the article the historical need of conducting party and political work for the Red Army in the first years of the Soviet power is briefly proved. Partpolitrabota in troops was a necessary condition of creation and functioning of the Army of a new type, regularity of the Soviet military construction. The process of creation of political bodies, institute of military commissioners and political leaders as an organizational basis of the carried-out party and political work in troops is considered. It is emphasized that the created system of party and political work in the Red Army underwent testing time. It was one of the power sources of the Red Army that caused its victory, and experience of Civil war for many years caused top trends of military construction in the USSR, was used and developed during the Great Patriotic War, was improved in the next years. It is represented possible to consider at the solution of tasks of modern military construction.

PROPAGANDISTS CONFRONTATION IN THE BATTLE OF STALINGRAD
The years that have passed since the “Perestroika” have practically deprived the Russian army of such powerful weapons as Party political work. The experience of the Great Patriotic War shows that its impact is quite comparable with the use of weapons of mass destruction. Skillfully organized propaganda work was one of the decisive factors of the victory in the Battle of Stalingrad. The article is devoted to the activities of the Political Directorate of the Red Army: special propaganda and its features, manifested during the Battle of Stalingrad. The authors identified a number of patterns in the development of propaganda directed at the enemy soldiers. The main feature was the departure from the ideologized patterns in the special propaganda and agitation towards the psychological impact on the enemy troops. The experience gained on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War allows it to be widely used in modern hybrid wars.

The article depicts the contents and experience of the political work organization undertaken by the military and political work administration in the units of the limited contingent of the Soviet troops in Afghanistan, among the military personnel and civilians of the Democratic Republic of Afghanistan. The author uses the materials of the generalized military experience and personal experience of the participation in the planning and conduct of the political work (special propaganda) with the Afghanistan insurgents and civilians in 1984-1985.

IMAGES of THE MILITARY SERVICE of THE PEOPLES of RUSSIA in THE MILITARY HIGH SCHOOL HUMANITARIAN EDUCATION
The article is devoted to the using of the images of the Russian people military service in the process of the educational subjects “Philosophy” and “Culturology” in the multicultural space of the modern military higher educational institution. The special attention is paid to the cadets formation of ideals and beliefs about the protection of the common Russian Motherland, value and emotionally close to the representatives of different cultures, ethnic groups and confessions of our country. It is shown that for this purpose the inexhaustible source of the Russian people spirituality (literature, epos, folklore, paintings) should be actively used. Demonstration of the common cultural components depicting the military duty, honor and glory during the lessons, according to the authors, helps to form unified value-morale basis of the military service, the atmosphere of the community and friendship within the military personnel.

The article describes psychological features of using special hardware facilities in the system of psychological preparation for accomplishing service and fighting assignments. There are presented the differentiation of motivating facilities in the performance of the assignments by service members (officers) of the National Guard of the Russian Federation. To prove the author’s hypothesis the experimental procedure and results are represented. The experiment has been hold on the National Guard faculty of the Military University of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. The author concludes that the regulation and control of the motivation level during the organization and holding of the lessons within the psychological training system using the software and hardware systems are the necessary elements of the effective service problems solving.

The article shows that in the conditions of digitalization of all spheres of life and popularity of the digital sources of information the computer sport becomes an effective army service agitation and propaganda tool. The article discovers the organization of conscription in different countries. The process of recruitment in the U.S. Army is analyzed, especially the role of video games and computer simulators in the advertising activities. The author gives features of the America's Army gaming platform created by the Pentagon specially for a broader coverage of youth audience to attract it in the Army. Also some other possibilities that are used in different countries for promoting military service are considered in the article. The article examples the similar events held in Russia on platforms of the military patriotic park “Patriot”.

Military-political work scientific foundations
On the 14th of December, 2018 in the Hall of Military Glory of the Military University Research-to-Practice Conference took place. The preparation of the scientific forum was organized by the Chief Military Political Directorate of the Russian Federation Armed Forces. The participants of the conference agreed that it was necessary to develop the theoretical ground of the main directions of the military-political work, deepening of the science, practice and education integration.

On the 22nd of March, 2019 in the Military University of the Russian Federation Ministry of Defense the round-table conference on the topic “The Religious Factor of the Red Army personnel high morale formation during the Great Patriotic War and ways of its role advancing in the strengthening of the moral-political state of Armed Forces. The unifying role of the Main Russian Federation Armed Forces Church building in commemoration of the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War”. The event was hold according to the plan of the Ministry of Defense and the charity fund “Voskresenie” cooperation on the information-propagandist support of the Main Russian Federation Armed Forces Church building.
On the 21st of February, 2019, on the eve of the Defender’s Day in the Military University Of the Russian Federation Ministry of Defense an awarding ceremony of the winners of the competition on the titles “The Best Educator” and “The Best Research Worker” according to the results of 2018. In the year of the 100th anniversary of the University the competition showed that the command and teaching staff wanted to continue the best traditions of the University.
